iMac resolution
I think that 1080P would have been a smart resolution to have, since that is the resolution of most HD movies. That is what I have at work and it looks great on a 25 inch monitor. Instead Apple chose to go with a 1440P resolution, which is twice vertically and horizontally the number of pixels of 720P. It makes everything look too small. As a result, I drop my resolution at home down to 720P.

RE: Monthly phone data usage
How much is just the data portion?
It is a bait in switch, because when AT&T announced that they were doing away with unlimited, Verizon said that they would keep unlimited.

Verizon made their announcement today about dropping unlimited data plans.
I currently (T-Mobile) have what they label as “unlimited”, but in reality if I passed 2Gb they would throttle me down to a slower data rate and throughput. Their new data plans also do away with “unlimited” in favor of 2Gb ($80), 5Gb ($90), 10Gb($120), higher data caps for more money.
